Hello!
I've been saving up for a new Graphics Card, and I've landed on a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Extreme.

It's going to replace my EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti.
I've been looking at compatability and everything seems to be in order, but it's a extremely expensive card and I would rather be safe than sorry, and have a person who knows more than me give it a OK before buying.
I've been playing a lot of high quality games, and am a big VR player.
My old card could hold up pretty solid, but I would like to upgrade for maximun performance & Quality all together.
Latety I've been having a lot of issues with my computer randomly shutting down without any warnings, and I've narrowed it down to a Power Surge Problem. I've connected the PC to a outlet of it's own and updated the BIOS, and I have not had a problem for a full day now.
But on that note I would like to be sure my current rig can play well with the new card
I'll list my rig here :
Intel - Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz
Arctic Freezer 13 CPU Cooler
Asus Maximus VII Ranger
Kingston HyperX 32GB RAM DDR3
Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 TI (EVGA) (The one to be replaced)
Corsair 300R Case
Corsair 760W 80+ Platinum PSU
Hope it fits and thanks for taking the time to help me out with my worries!
