My PC specs are

i5 8600

Zotac GTX 1080 Mini

Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz 8gb DDR4 ram

600W Corsair TX-M PSU

Im getting underwhelming performance on my gtx 1080.I tried Ungine Superposition and my scores were 4016 and sometimes scores go below 4000 to high 3800's.I tried ocing the GPU and was able to get upto 4250 score.I tried playing BF1 on ultra 1080p with 100 resolution scale and my fps is always between 60-100.Id say average is around 70-80 with gpu usage all over the place and cpu usage constantly at 99%.Ive seen people getting more than 100fps with a i5 8400 and a 1080 on BF1 while my PC rarely goes above 90.I did Ungine Heaven benchmarks too and at stock, scores are around 2700-2800.With OC,I was able to get close to 3000(1080p ultra preset).Other game I tried Just Cause 3 and I was able to get over 100fps at times and goes down to 80fps in large cities and ocasionally dips to 50-60fps during huge explosions..What do you guys think?I feel like my GPU is really underperforming for a 1080.

I am definitely not an expert in this subject area but one reason that this may be caused is due to the fact that your monitor may support FreeSync (An AMD panel technology), rather than G-Sync (A Nvidia panel technology). From what i have read about V-Sync (which correct me if im wrong) but if properly implemented than it is going to cap your FPS at your Refresh Rate typically. Id recommend trying Adaptive Sync through your settings and if not then go back to V-Sync i suppose. I have only recently begun researching adaptive and vsync so my deepest apologies if any of this is incorrect.
