GTX 1080's in SLI with 50% usage for both?

Is this normal to have 50% gpu usage for both cards and not closer to 100. I want to utilize them as much as possible. My cpu is a 3930k overclocked to 3.9 GHz but I dont think its bottlenecking. Then again, I don't even know if this could even normal haha.

Please list more info like games you are playing, monitor resolution, quality settings, if you are running Vsync, etc. The higher your resolution and quality settings (including upping AA) the more the GPUs will be stressed. But it takes a lot to put stress on 1080 SLI where usage is above 75% (assuming no CPU bottleneck).

The pci-express version of your motherboard could also be effecting the speed of the cards. Do you know what chipset or motherboard model your using?

I have a gsync 2560x1440p monitor with all settings maxed out and I play everything, but mostly overwatch. but if I were wanting to use dsr for example, I would want it to use 100% of both.
