GTX 1080TI Fan Controll

So i have been trying to control its fan speed because, the heat of the GPU is affecting the rest of my setup, but for some reason Msi after burner cant change it, its trying but aint working, its jumping from the percentage i have defined, to 0 with 2 sec between.

its like something else is controlling my fans, overruling MSI Afterburner, does this GPU already have the software to auto run the fans? if it does, can i change it?

If you havn't tried reinstalling the gpu driver as well as MSi afterburner then make sure to do that, and after that check if there is any additional GPU monitoring software is installed Like from major GPU companies like ASUS,EVGA etc.
If you find any of them, Just uninstall them since you have MSI afterburner to control everything.

Well just tried it, didnt work, i think it might be something in the GPU bios, some pre defined setting for the fan speed

There's definitely a default fan setting which is fed to GPU's but it's strange that softwares are not able to change because it can be changed with softwares.

You can try to reflash your GPU's BIOS and see if that help
