[SOLVED] gtx 1660 6gb 8 pin and my power supply connector 6+2 pin PCI-E .Is it connectable???

I want to buy a gtx1660 6gb 8 pin and i dont have an 8 pin cable but i have a 6 + 2 pin pci-e.My power supply is thermaltake litepower 550w.Can i connect the gtx 1660 with the 6+2 pin pci-e cable or must i buy a new power supply???

You're welcome.
Your PSU was designed for an 8 pin (which is your 6+2 pin). Don't use adapters....like 6 pin to 8 pin.
