Question GTX 1660 TI or GTX 1050 TI

So let me prefrence this by saying im very new to upgradeing my pc and i asume its better. If the 1660 TI is better id like to ask how my build is. Thank you for any help.

Yeah my bad here you go

Processor: i7-7700k
Motherboard: MSI B250M Gaming Pro
Ram: 2 8GB Corsair sticks
Power: Evga 500W PS
Ive had all parts for four months and just got the 1660 TI.
Like i said im new to this if the 1660 TI isnt good that will put my budget to 500 bucks.

Well you're comparing a low-end ish GPU to a high end CPU, i would recommend going for a 2060 or 2070 instead.
Would be much better pair.
I would say that power supply should be enough.

The 1660 Ti is much better than the 1050 Ti and your build is can easily run it, maybe even something better if you can afford it.

Well the OP said, he would make his budget 500$ thats why i recommended a rtx 2070 or 2060 instead.

gtx 1660 is a way lot better than the gtx 1050ti u should go with`it

If you game at 1080p the 1660 Ti will work very well.
I have an MSI 1660 Ti Armor OC in my Ryzen 5 2600 (OC'd to 3.95 GHz) rig and at 1080p/60 Hz I get anywhere from 85 to 120 + fps in current games set to Ultra.
If you game at 1440p I'd get the 2060 or 2070 if you can afford it.

Before you start splashing out on anything bette rthan a 1660ti, what is your monitor?
No point having a better GPU if your monitor is 1080p and you don't plan on upgrading it for a long time
