Question GTX 1660 vs GTX 1070

I need a little help choosing between:

• GIGABYTE GV-N166TWF2OC-6GD GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 8GB GDDR6 Windforce OC PCIE
• ZOTAC ZT-P10700Q-10P GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 AMP Extreme Core PCIE

The GTX1660 is newer but a bit weaker, at game debate by comparing 1660 8% worse than 1070
The price difference is minor.

1660 is faster, it's faster in BattlefieldV, ResidentEvil RE2 and it will be faster in most games. Benchmarks and youtubers prove that. How much faster? Some games - 10FPS faster, some games - on par.

And you can get it as low as $300 on amazon.

There is absolutely no reason to buy 1070 now.
