[SOLVED] How to connect my PC to my projector ?

Looking for a little emergency help!

I have friends coming over to play a pc game on my projector. I have never tried this setup before. I am so far unable to get my pc screen to show up on my projector. Can you help me with what I should be connecting the hdmi to that runs from my projector? Where should be it be connecting on my pc setup? My gpu runs to my monitor with displayport. I have a fiber hdmi. Thanks for helping with this the first time.

It's fairly simple - HDMI on your video card in computer -to- Projector

The video resolution of the computer needs to be set at a Native Resolution of the Projector

Okay. Trying some things. AV threads are telling me it needs to go gpu to receiver instead. Trying a 90 degree hdmi adapter. I'll have to go check what native is for an epson 5050ub. Thanks.

I might try the straight to projector option to see what that does, but I have been able to achieve this now. PC with fiber hdmi to av. PC see Denon AVR. Resolution defaults to projector specs (1920x1080, 60hz). But my projector isn't getting the signal through he receiver. My fire cube is running to my projector and streams fine, so I know it's not a cable issue that way. I can't get the gpu signal from the receiver to the projector. What step am I missing?

What model Denon?
Some of the newer models have Upscaling built in, and default is ON. You can find it somewhere in the HDMI Input setup. You want to turn it off, and allow the source input resolution to pass through unbiased to the projector.
