[SOLVED] Gtx 1660ti upgrade

Hi, i have gtx 1060 6gb im playing games on 1080p medium-high range and if i upgrade it to gtx 1660ti worth it? i cant afford rtx 2060 or relevant

An upgrade to the 1660 Ti should provide an easy 25% performance boost, maybe more depending on the game. Whether or not that's worth it is up to you.

A 1660 SUPER is generally shown to perform within a few percent or so of a 1660 Ti, so that might also be worth considering if you can find one at a significantly lower price.

Of course, the 1660 Ti has been out for almost two years already, and a new generation of graphics cards has already started coming out at the higher-end. The 3060 is expected to be announced next month (though I would expect a $300+ MSRP), and there may be 3050-class cards announced soon too, so it might not be the best time to buy a graphics card in this price range, unless you were to really need one right away.

i think gtx 1060 is still doing the job but i doubt my gpu will survive untill 3050-class cards out i should replace it

using it for 5 years and fans starting to work cranky sometimes this is a bad sign

1660ti isn't even faster than the 1070ti
This is not a good upgrade path for the money.

5600xt/5700 or better or 2060 or better

Hold out longer, that isn't the greatest upgrade for the money,
