Now, i pokes around and all i could find are discussions of how this card will perform on games that 2-3 years old....

I need to know how this card will perform with CURRENT GAMES (examples below) if i upgrade my gaming res from my current one to 1080P. games like crysis 2 / AC brotherhood / Dead Space 2 / Homefront and most of the games that are coming out at least in the next year.

off topic question: does anybody know the brand ENOX? i saw a screen that had pretty good spec but was skeptic as to the quality as i haven't heard of ENOX before. the screen is 19" 1366x768 res LED with HDMI at the back and it said it was capable of 720p HD and 1080i....now if i buy this this screen as it is pretty cheap...will it be a good upgrade from my current screen or would it be waste of money? is playing at 720p HD better than 1440x900 VGA?

Thanks.

it will run some games on med settings but personally I'd want more gpu muscle to properly run games at 1080p, I think if you upgrade your monitor you might find yourself upgrading your gpu shortly there after..

Enox is crap lol, 720p is generally 1280X720 so no your current monitor has a higher res, a gtx 260 would do pretty good at either res but the 720p monitor is worse, in short. waste of money imo.

However I would stick with the monitor you have bc imo you will be scaling things back a lot in most modern games for the 260 to be able to run at 1080p and really the gtx 260 is perfect for a 720p or 1440X900 monitor, so unless you plan on upgrading your gpu then I would not make the move to 1080p yet

Thank you guys, you helped make up my mind and save me some money!! whether it was on the new screen which would've forced me to buy a new GPU or this ENOX crap 😀

ok another question, i am torn between two screens that i found, one is the samsung bx2035 which is 20" 1600x900 res and LED DVI port. and the other is an LG (don't remember the model) 22" 1680x1050 but not LED and only VGA support.

which do you recommend? the technically advanced samsung with LED and DVI but not a big size upgrade from what i have now, or the bigger higher resolution LG, but not LED nor DVI but still larger than my current one.....please gamers out there help me decide....
