Which one is better? I'm running the GTX 260 core 216 right now and struggling with ultra in WoW. I am looking at getting the 750 TI as a budget upgrade but having some trouble figuring out if it's better.

According to this:

It should be better.

But according to this site, they are about the same:

What do you all think? Getting about 30 fps on ultra in some areas with the gtx 260, hoping to get at least 45-50.

running i7 930 overclocked to 4ghz with 24gb of ram.

Solution
It will be near impossible to compare them going back so many generations of cards. I just eyeballed a few reviews where generations replace the previous and if you sorta figure there was so much changed in the architecture, I'd say YES. It is definitely better than the 260 and should provide better performance. Your best bet will be to look at GTX750Ti reviews that include WOW performance. Below is the first one I found.

If you get a model with a good cooler, just overclock the snot out of it. These are Maxwell based and should OC pretty darn high. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121855&cm_re=gtx750ti-_-14-121-855-_-Product

Solution
GTX 750 ti. hands down. Faster , More efficient. Faster Memory. Not to mention that The Maxwell architecture is just slightly newer and has Support beyond not only DX10 (GTX 260 DX10) but DX11 and presumably DX12.
