GTX 280 to GTX 560 connector issues

Hello All,

First post here, I have unfortunately been just a lurker for a while... but now I had to register as I have an issue that I cant seem to solve.

I am looking to upgrade my Video card to a GTX 560ti ... but I have seem to run into a power connector issue. My current system is an Alienware aurora as seen below..

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Installed Memory (Ram): 9.00 GB
Display Adaptor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
System Type: 64-bit Operating system (Windows 7)

So the Problem is that my current card uses an 8pin and a 6pin connector. The 560GTX uses 2 6pin connectors... But I cant for the life of me find an 8pin to a 6pin adaptor!!

Do these even exist? or am I missing some sort of workaround?

Oh forgot to say that my Power supply is a 535w unit.

is it a 6+2pin or a dedicated 8-pin.?

Haha... well if this is a dumb question.. then I am even worse. Because I dont know!!

I am just looking at the stats on Nvidias site... and they are listed below.

These all appear to be 6pin FEMALE to 8pin MALE ...

Looks like what I need is 8pin FEMALE.. to 6pin MALE ...
