I want to upgrade my gpu and it's down to these cards what are the pros and cons of each card so I get my moneys worth

i would agree if you already have a 5770 why drop it off, when you can save some cash and get another 5770 for crossfire, even though i'm pretty much in love with the 460, if you've already got a 5770 which is pretty much as good price performance as the 460, but for 150 bucks, you can get performance better then one 460, and honestly it should last you at least, until the next gpu generation.

Unless of course you really need a high power multi-monitor display or 3d. if your gaming at 1920x1080 or less, don't bother on anything besides another 5770 to CF them up

I assume they mean across the board, not core or mem wise.

On the other hand when Asus says that you get a nice boost they don't lie 😀

Here is a chart that puts an OC'ed 1Gb right between the 470 and 480 :

I am doing a new build in about a month and am going to go with 2 470's in sli. The reason is I have 700 bucks for gpu budget and would like 3d and cuda because I do CAD for work...so pc maybe a write off lol. I just can't decide on what version of the 470 to go with EVGA, MSI, FrozrII, Palit? This is my 1st build and I am stressing about this too much probably.

I replaced 5770's xfired with single 460. in games the max fps has stayed within 10% higher or lower depending on game, min fps have increased in all games i play. With AA added 460 is between 10% to 40% faster max fps or min fps
