Hey guys, had a quick question about the requirements for the gtx480. I guess I'm just a bit confused as far as amps go. I'm seeing from the nvidia site that the card has a minimum power supply requirements of 600W, which I have surpassed with my Antec 650W psu, but as far as amps go, the card requires a minimum of 42Amps, and that's where I'm stuck. My power supply is as follows...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015
+3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V1@22A, +12V2@22A, +12V3@25A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2.5A
Since the card uses two pcie power connecters, would I simply add 22A +22Ato determine if my psu gives out enough power? OR should 42Amps be just for one connecter?
Thanks in advance,
zodiac.
