Gtx 550ti vs ati 6790

i want to buy a gpu and i can buy a gtx 550ti or ati 6790 which card should i go for my ? ?
i have core 2 duo e6700 with 4gb ddr2 ram and 600 watt psu mother board is d975

Neither of those cards are well priced for their performance. Spending a bit more for a GTX 460 or HD6850 would be a wise choice.

460 and 6850 are out of my range are these 2 cards(550,6790) will work fine or good in new games like the witcher 2,crysis2,terminator selvation ?
