gtx 560 not detected

hi all i just bought a second hand asus gtx 560, it never came with any drivers and stuff. so i hooked up to my h81m-p32 motherboard and put the pc on. now
isnt it supposed to at least be detected by my pc
please help so i can know if the card is broken or not

Have you installed the latest nVidia drivers? Try this:

hi i tried that but all it does it say it cannot find a compatible device

Try to remove the card, clean the card's contacts, then put the GPU again, in the right PCI-E 16x slot, and hook up the power cables. Then check again if the card is identified under the Device Manager.

i did all of that but still no graphics card identified in the device manager

I thought this topic was finished... Well, you changed the PSU then it worked? Hm, you didn't have a GPU before, or it was a really low power consumption one then..
