GTX 560 TI SLI or GTX 770?

At the moment I have one GTX 560 TI. It doesn't run as fast as I wish, and comes with a 15% OC from Asus.

Are there any benchmarks of the GTX 560 TI SLI vs the 770? I have not been able to find any.

The reason why I'm so reluctant to buy a GTX 700 series GPU is because the 800 series is going to be a complete revamp, the 700's are just OC tweaks of 600's atm.

So if this was a question of 660 ti sli vs 860/870 I would go for 800's, but onto topic.

I can handle the heat + power consumption, but if I got SLI then I need to buy a SLI motherboard, as my current one only has one GPU slot.

I can get another 560 TI for about £100 brand new + 70 ish for a new motherboard, so for £170 I can have GTX 560 TI SLI. For almost double that I can get the GTX 770 at £330.

My third option is to buy a GTX 670, currently I can get one for about £230, £60 more than my GTX 560 TI set up. In the future I wont SLI my 670, so no need for a new motherboard, as I'll get a 880.

Summed up:

Currently got: 560 TI.
560 TI SLI cost = £170.
670 brand new 10% OC = £230 (will not SLI).
770 brand new 10% OC = £330 + £XX (May SLI)

Obviously I've never ran an SLI set up before, what are the short comes people generally go through, have drivers been fixed etc?

The 770 is a brand new card, tbh you'd be pretty stupid to expect complete comparisons. I'm fairly certain two 560TI's = 1 680, and a 770 is basically a overclocked 680 (The mem and core get a sizeable OC), so a 770 would be more powerful than two 560TI's. It depends how much you can sell your 560ti for. I would go for a 770 or a 7950 and OC it (A heavily Oced 7950 still matches and/or beats a 770, a 7970 is even better at overclocking.)

Reviewers have had this card for many days, they review them and sign a NDA so they can't post anything till a specific date.

My choice has to be Nvidia, for active 3D on my monitor.

But from what I can make out via different benchmarks 560 ti SLI is a tiny bit slower than a 10% OC GTX 670, and the 670 is very near the 680. The 670 however falls back about 5-10% constantly on most games 1080p against the 770 (techtomorrow 770, 670, 680 benchmarks).

My personal thoughts:
Sli'ing 560 ti's doesn't seem worth it compared to the 670, as you get less performance (£60 saving however, or £90 if you have sli mobo). I reckon with a 670 I could probably sli that, assuming 1155 mobo's get cheaper (screwed if they get scarce), as 670's will come cheaper too in the future.

I'd sell the 560ti and buy a 670 or 770. Running 2 GPUs doesn't seem worth it unless you have 3 monitors or a 144Hz monitor.

To run SLI you need 700W+ PSU and you need to find a way to keep them cool. It's just not worth it in my opinion.

Not for SLi'd 560Ti's you don't, I used a 620w.

@OP, a single 660Ti will give you the same or better performance than SLi'd 560Ti's and cost less than a 670.

Yeah 660 TI and 670 performance are close, but I want the 680 performance for the price of 670 (got a deal for £100 cheaper than 770 price on the GTX 670.)

The performance between 660 TI and 680 is marginally larger than 670, so it still seems like getting a 670 will be best for me, till the 800's come out.
