Gtx 580 power consumption

Hello Guys,

Please help me determine the overall power consumption of my system.
My specs are

core i5 2500k
8gb gskill ripjaws x
WD Caviar black 7200rpm 1tb
asus gtx 580 direct cu 2
cm haf 912 advance. 2x200mm fans + 2x120mm fans
corsair hx 750w

What do you think is the approximate power consumption when playing games or watching movie?
I would like to know because I would have to pay for the extra kilowatts consumed in our house.

Its going to vary based on what your doing on the computer.

The best and most accurate way is to get one of these:

Plug that into the wall, then plug a power-strip/multiplug into that and then plug your computer and monitor into the power strip and you will be able to monitor the power draw from the wall.

I estimate to be about 650w-700w during gaming and also depends on the efficiency. Divide 700 by your efficiency (decimal form)and you should get the kilowatt hour.

I would love to have that power meter but unfortunately is not available in my country. 🙁

That specific one might not be, but there are loads of similar ones that all do the same job.

Just do a google search for "plugin power meter" or something like that

What country are you buying from?
