Gtx 650 not running on 770 motherboard

I upgraded my system and sent my old video card to the houses main system. it's a 1156 board with 6gb of ram the card is a 650 ti 1gb. The problem is the card isn't showing up however it's old pci express card is a 450 ti and runs fine. Thought it was the power supplie but the psu the system is using is a 875 and mine is a 647maxx and it runs fine so it's not the power supplie. The mother board is pretty beat up could that be a issue. Can someone provide me with a possible solution

If the video card works in another system, then the motherboard is the issue. Did you check for a BIOS update? If the motherboard is a PCIe 1 slot, newer CPIE 2.1 and up cards can have issues with that.
