GTX 650Ti fans not spinning

Hi guys I just managed to build my PC (finally, so much sweating) , however I noticed that my GPU fans are not spinning is this normal?
What should I do? When I insert the GPU CD it shows me Please install VGA Cards of Asus.

Would going to nvidia and install the latest drivers solve this?

just try it out. there is nothing to lose, also the drivers that come on the CD are old.

go to nvidias site and download them

If it's saying that you must install an ASUS VGA Card, it's not detecting that you have one. Does the card show up in device manager?

In Display adapters the Intel HD Graphics 4600 is the only one showing up
So I guess I didn't installed my GPU correctly?

Ndivia graphics drivers gives me the following message
This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware

What is the rest of your system and are you sure you connected the power cable to the GPU? Also connect your display cable to the back of the GPU, not to the motherboard.

Oh yes then, didf you plug in the 6 pin pci-e connector into the GPU?

I also just tested to plug my monitor in the GPU card and it doesn't show a signal, however on the motherboard in works

I plugged the PCI-E cable in the graphics card and I do see a green led above it

So my GPU is plugged on the motherboard
and there's the PCI-E cable that goes from the PSU to GTX 650 Ti

Might be something that you've already done, but check to make sure the card is all the way seated.

Do you have the possibility to lend a GPU from someone to try it out? That could help us determine whether or not the GPU might be malfunctioning. If the another GPU works, your GPu is broken. If it doesn't, your motherboard is broken.

Dunno what happened but I insert another PCI-E cable into the graphics card and pressed it again to make sure it is
plugged well into the motherboard and now they spin and I can also connect my monitor to the graphics card
Also shows in the display adapters the GTX 650Ti but however now there's no signal with the monitor plugged on the motherboard is this normal?

Your BIOS could be setting the PCIe x16 slot as the primary video adapter, and so it won't display your monitor, but I could be wrong. You should be running your video to your card anyways 😀

Glad you got it up and working! Get those drivers on that disc installed!

They are getting installed at very moment thank you for your effort 😀
