Hi TH community I have an MSi z370 a pro Mobo with an i3-8350k and an GTX 660, I plug it all in pcie and 6-pin and the fan spins, but the card does not post, also do I have to switch video output to the pcie lane or should it post automatically

Also can I put HDMI 1.4 into 2.0 I'm looking at a 1050ti 4G thanks in advance

Solution
It should post automatically, check your video cables (hdmi) and make sure that they are tightly connected into the graphics card. Reset the CMOS battery and make sure that the GPU pins are clear (I recommend compressed air). You're not getting video signal from the card, and everything else is working, right? Try using a DVI cable instead of HDMI.
