Sold my MSI 660OC just last night, after almost 2,5 years of usage. Wanna refresh some guts of my PC by purchasing a new gpu with a new warranty.
What should I buy? I know I'm might sound crazy, but since Nvidia is dominating last few years, which is very horrible for humaity, I'm leaning towards AMD cards, just to keep AMD in battle 😀 I'm thinking about R7 370, which is a little slower/little cheaper than gtx950. Would it be a good choice? I know it wouldn't be a huge boost after 660, but since I need to add only 30-40euros for a new card with warranty support, it sounds good to me. Just asking your reasonable thoughts.
BONUS question: Sapphire AMD cards have shorter warranty (24months) here than other manufacturers (36months). Any issues with that brand?

I just looked at some recent games like GTA 5, Asassins creed and the Witcher 3 where the difference was about 5-10%. In some cases the difference could go up to 15%. The card is not bad, but I think the 950 is worth the 10 extra bucks. The 950 is around 10% faster than the 370. The 380 and the 960 would cost another 40-50$ and give you up to 40% more performance than the 370. But just look at some benchmarks or the 370. If you are ok with that performance, go with the 370.
With the 370 your performance will increase by 5 to 10%. Not worth it if you ask me. Since you already sold your card, waiting for the new budget cards is probably not an option. In my Opinion the 950, or even the 960 and r9 380 if you can afford are very well worth it. For the 4gb VRAM if nothing else.

My MSI 660 died after 25months of usage, and was replaced by a warranty, so it was a great opportunity to sell my almost new 660; it was attractive deal to others and great change to me to sell it with a decent price. I'd feel much safer with a new card and a new warranty.
How about R7 370 4gb version? I guess not worth it, since I play on 1080p?
