TL;DR at the buttom.

Hello there. This is my first post on this forum, so please bear with me.
I'm going to upgrade my pc soon, and I'm almost ready to buy the parts.

My current specs are:

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti Non-OC'ed
CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz
RAM: Some stock Samsung 8GB 1333 Mhz
HDD: 1TB Western Digital
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-M Pro (All new)
OS: Windows 7 Pro (I know there's a little more, but I'll update this 'list' when I get home)

My equipment:
Keyboard: Logitech G19
Mouse: Logitech G9x
Headset: Logitech G930
Screen: 2x Dell 19" 1280x1024 (I'm going to buy a BenQ GL2450HM soon)

The specs I want to upgrade to, are the following (I'm still unsure of this):
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 660 Ti FTW S2
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
RAM: Not sure, but probably some 8GB 1600Mhz

A couple months ago, I couldn't stop looking at benchmarks, reviews, gameplays etc. with the EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW. I wanted it so badly.
But recently, I've been thinking about it.
Would it be overkill for an average gamer?
After thinking about that for quite some time, I stumbled upon the mighty MSI Geforce GTX 660 Ti PE/OC.
It's $100~ cheaper, and with a little OC'ing, it has incredible performance comparable, with the GTX 670.

I was pumped once again. I just HAD to have it, like, right now.
But then, I looked after other GTX 660 Ti's (I did that before too, but I didn't notice it), and I found the EVGA Geforce GTX 660 Ti FTW Signature 2 Edition. Once again, I was pumped. The performance is crazy for the price (In my area)!

But then I thought to myself.
Will I be able to play games with SMAA/downsampling + ENB, and still get at least 40+ FPS?
Tbh, don't think that'd be possible without OC'ing.
And maybe even after OC'ing, it might still not be possible.

So that's pretty much where I am now. Should I get an EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW? Should I go with the Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3x and still have room in my budget for RAM? Or should I just stick with the GTX 660 Ti FTW S2, and get some good RAM for the $100~?
Pricing: I can get an EVGA GTX 660 Ti FTW S2 for the same price, as the MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC (The FTW is on discount.) Not only that, but I can also get a refurbished Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3x for almost the same price, as the others.

TL;DR
Should I get the EVGA Geforce GTX 660 Ti FTW S2, or the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 670 Windforce 3x (I can get the 670 refurbished, for the same price as the 660 Ti), if I want to play with SMAA/downsampling + ENB?

There is no longer a reason for anybody to buy a 660ti. at the $300 price range it gets SMASHED by the radeon HD 7950 boost.
So if I were you I would choose the gtx 670. I dont really see the 660ti in its price as a valid graphics card. If they priced it at $250-$275 range I would say go for it, but paying $300+ for it is outrages.
The 7950 and 670 trade blows, however in single monitor gaming the gtx 670 wins the majority of the time. if you can afford it, then go for it.

I would go for the gtx 670 BUT if you can afford the price. My friend bought the asus gtx 660 ti which plays crysis 3 on med to high with 30+ fps.My opinion is that give a little more $$$ and take gtx 670 which performs close to gtx 680.I have a gtx 470 and i play bioshock infinite on ultra with 30+ fps and crysis 3 on medium settings.I dont know if i should buy the gtx 670 or wait until the 7 series release and maybe the price drops. :)

If you can afford it' get the GTX 670. If you're comfortable with overclocking, you can over clock the 670 to stock GTX 680 performance. If you can't afford the GTX 670, get the HD 7950 Boost.
