GTX 660ti Power edition.

Hello!

I currently have a GTX 660ti Power edition from MSI. I was wondering if this card is still considerd good for gaming. I am planning to to upgrade my card but not anytime soon it might take half a year for example. i m just curious about what you guys think of the card at this point in time.

Yes, GTX 660 Ti is a pretty decent card. But the problem is that it was released way back in 2012. Why get such a old card when you can get a good current generation with better performance, power efficacy, 1080p stellar performers like GTX 960, for almost same price or even less?

Even a GTX 660 2GB (Non Ti) costs minimum $228.76

Far better cards than GTX 660, which cost less or almost the same price:
GTX 960 2GB $198.99
GTX 960 4GB $239.99
R9 280X 3GB $237.99 [This card is even better than GTX 960]

So my suggestion is that even when you're going to buy a card after 6 months, try to get a better GPU that would fit your budget during that time.

I allready have the card for almost 3 years now. sorry that wasnt clear and thanks for the suggestions!

Dont upgrade yet, that card is still great. Once it becomes too slow to play current games, then upgrade.
