Hey everyone, I plan to use a gtx 670 to power a Yamakasi Catleap 2550 x 1440... Will that work? How well? Like bf3 @ max settings? Please note I have not purchased the card OR the monitor so it's the prime time to guide me! I feel like I could take gaming to the next level by going from a Gtx 570 W/ a 1080p monitor to this new setup. Please post and respond I'm very curious about this! And how big of a leap is it from 1080p to 1440p? Really any advice is appreciated I've never ventured into this expensive level of gaming so... I'm very wary and don't want to waste money but DO want an awesome gaming experience. Thanks 😀

The only one of these I could even come close to affording is the Acer, and it has a bad review rate... Lots of problems I've heard of w/ it.

Well the high res monitor I was going to get was around $300, but I heard it was crappy so I can't afford a good quality one hahaha

I have a catleap @120hz 😀, with my GTX 570 I get 40-70 fps (depending on the scene/map) in BF3 with everything max minus AA postprocessing(off) and MSAA @ 2x

670 will perform a lot better, you will not get anywhere near the 2gb vram limit unless you try maybe 8 or 16x AA, but at 1440p imo its just a waste as I find 2x to be almost perfect. At least better than 4x MSAA @1080p.

And yes, 1440p is amazing compared to 1080p on a 27" monitor. Its creepy how real it looks. FYI 120hz.net will be doing a second sale of overclockable catleaps soon, no word of when just yet, just soon.
