GTX 670 upgrade

Hi all, I'm considering upgrading my GPU from a GTX 670. I'm a hardcore BF player and am looking at anything up to a 780ti.

Have always had NVIDIA but AMD is up for consideration also. Thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, if you're willing to buy a 780ti then why not just buy the 780ti? That's a damn good card and nothing to sneeze at.

Another option is just waiting for the next generation Nvidia cards which should be out pretty soon.

BF4 runs better on the AMD cards and the R9 295 is faster on bf4 by 5 fps. If that makes a different for you then the R9 if not the 780 ti is a great card too. You couldn't go wrong with both

i would just wait like 2 weeks to see the new 900 series by NVIDIA and how it compares to the current cards (performance and pricing wise), otherwise you cant go wrong with either 290x or 780ti.

I wait for the 900 series nvidia. Ur card can still pack a punch. Suggest u save up and get a 900 series card. It be wiser so as to avoid ur decison why u didnt pickup a faster and more efficient card

What are the rest of the system specs? It would be pointless pairing a GTX780Ti with a slow CPU or a single 1080 60Hz screen.
Otherwise, agree with Caj, hold fire for a little while and see what the new Nvidia cards bring to the table.
