I know right all of these GTX 680 owners come on here and defend it against a card that is stronger, cheaper, and has more ram! I mean I know their 680 was a great purchase when it came out, but things have changed and some people just don't get it...

You can pull out as many obscure references as you want, or you can look at the TH hierarchy chart and get a clue.

How can you call 3 fixed games as fixing the latency issue?
And look at the date of this one:

You seem to be calling your blind faith, fact.

I can agree that most people won't notice a big problem with the above issues talked about...My point is you should consider both, and not ignore the problems.

How can I ignore it if I can't notice it? That's the point I was trying to make. Many people are buying 7950s and 70s and I don't see the flood of "WTF is going on with my card" in forums that I read. I see people testing the cards showing big spikes in frame times. But I don't see the outcry from people using the card. Because they WANT their expensive card to be good?

Most people don't cry with a loss of 5 FPS either, but many people, when they look, see occasional hitching. Most people ignore it. Some people come and try and fix it.

Don't you feel bad when someone takes your advise, then comes back and complains of hitching or microstuttering? I do, so I do make sure they are aware of the these things.

I haven't recommended either card. It might seem like I am recommending the 680, but I haven't. I only wanted the OP to be aware that the AMD's have things to be concerned with, so he doesn't ended up disappointed and all I get is people acting like a real problem doesn't exist.

If he is one that notices hitching, he will likely want to go a different way than someone who doesn't pay attention to it. Even then, I wonder what is better, a few extra unnoticeable FPS, or unnoticeable improved smoothness. Which becomes noticeable first?

Because those Skyrim and Borderlands 2 were the only games with a problem in the first place. A little 10% lattency here and there is unnoticable, but Skyrim's was clearly bad based on what I have read.

Btw you are seriously arguing that the 7970 doesn't cost less and trade blows with the 680? Talk about blind faith! You just made my day!
