GTX 680 vs GTX 760

I have a question about 2 GPUs. I want to buy either a second hand GTX 680 2gb (Reference card) or a second hand GTX 760 EVGA FTW 2gb. Now since these cards have quite the same performance, I was wondering if the 760 would be better for the future because its a later series. Or doesn't that matter and should I go for the 680?

Well maybe in a few years nvidia sorts out the gtx680 and will only support the gtx760 for a short time, but by that time the drivers are mostly optimized for the newer generation of cards anyway, so i don't think the support will make much of a difference.The cards both offer DX11 but the GTX680 should be a bit faster than the GTX760, so i would go for that one but it also uses 25W more power.
