It all depends what you're going to play.
I had a Nitro+ 480 GB, it was nice, well built, but I decided to send it back and get a KFA2 1060. Why? The 480 was a real oven in my case, and it would draw power like a beast. Over 200W when playing, and the blower would send the hot air to my HDDs, they would get 10° higher than normal because of that (42° just because of the card)
Now, the 1060 goes up to 72° and the consumption stays below 105W all the time. My HDDs stay at 32° when I play.
480 is good with games that use Vulkan, but there aren't that many around. I think both cards do well with DX12 so it shouldn't be a matter of choice.
AMD aimed a bit too high with the 480. They tried to impress, raised the GPU a bit too much, and now they're having problems with the heat and the consumption of all the cards...
