Oh god. I don't see that. Any cards that support 3x display for Optiplex 990 SFF?
either that or I go back to 2x displays.
Either way do I need a splitter to do that? Card came with no cables.

That is identical to my Optiplex 790 SFF (but newer). I'm using this card: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5160#ov
It supports up to 4 displays. But it is a 2 slot wide card. It fit in mine OK, so it should fit in yours. But check.
Thx for help man. How would I set up 3 displays via DVI? My old card had a splitter. Do I have to buy 1 separate?
I don't thing splitters will work. And if they did, both displays on the splitter would always be the same and show up in windows as one monitor. Don't any of your displays have HDMI input?
No down side. Digital (HDMI or DVI) is your best display anyway. Brighter and sharper than analog (VGA). Yes, the DVI to DVI connection takes care fo itself if you have the cable. You'll need 2 of those HDMI to DVI adapters for the other monitors. And another pair of DVI cables.
Btw, HDMI and DVI output the exact same digital signal.
