my pc cant run cs go on even the lowest settings, ive tried pretty much everything, sometimes it can get up to 120-130 fps on the lowest settings, but most of the time it just stays at 50 and when some shooting goes on in cs go it drops to 20-30 fps its UNPLAYABLE, does anyone know how i can fix this.

Ive seen some review about gtx 750 ti and it can run cs go on max with no worries, it even ran gta5 with a stable 90 fps. (seen this on youtube)

My specs :
CPU : AMD ATHLON x4 860K (3.7 Ghz)
GPU : GTX 750 TI
RAM : 8GB

Solution
50 fps sounds reasonable with your specs and I have
Intel I5 6600k
Nvidia 1060

and im getting about 150fps on average in most maps on lowest settings

I agree. I used to have an i7 920 with a NVIDIA GTX 970 and I would get an average of 70 fps in CS GO, but during fights it would also drop to about 30 fps and it would stutter like hell. CS GO has become more demanding over the years, so if you're watching reviews from 5 years ago that report really high fps with older systems, this probably isn't relevant to today's game. Your cpu could also be a bottleneck. For example, I have since upgraded my cpu to a 8700K and even though I'm using the same gpu, I now have around 250 fps on average. You should probably start thinking about...
Hi there... :benetton:
So this problem could only lead to a faulty graphics driver or no driver at all.
What windows do you have installed? what operating system are you running(64bit or 32bit?)
So i would highly recommend to reinstall your graphics driver with the newest graphics driver there is on the "nvidia website".Or maybe just use the windows update and let the "windows update" look for the newest driver to install.😉
1.Here is a link to download YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVER here=https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/159091/en-us
2.Make sure you uninstall the previous graphics driver(At device manager) and then you run the new downloaded graphics driver as administrator then you install it
3.Restart PC after installation and check if you CS Go works:benetton:

by the way i tried to benchmark my pc on userbenchmark.com and it said ''Overall this PC is performing way below expectations (19th percentile). This means that out of 100 PCs with exactly the same components, 81 performed better. The overall PC percentile is the average of each of its individual components. Use the charts in the benchmark sections of this report to identify problem areas. ''. do you think this has something to do with my cpu because it says on the website my cpu is performing way below expectations, i doubt its my vga card.

Im no pc expert, but what is your vga card brand? Make sure it's not a no name brand. Or perhaps it's faulty? you can also try updating the drivers.
All Nvidia/Gigabyte/Geforce graphics card will be the branded :benetton:
People just have to focus on compatibility between the GPU-to motherboard and CPU-to motherboard and GPU-to CPU....the same with RAM.

mykhael erandy The benchmark will say that the CPU will perform slowly because your CPU are doing all the graphical work and processing...where your graphics card is suppose to do the graphical work and your CPU to do its processing. Its ether a faulty driver or no driver at all😉:):benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton:

it is actually performing better now the userbenchmark wrote "

Overall this PC is performing as expected (47th percentile). This means that out of 100 PCs with exactly the same components, 53 performed better. The overall PC percentile is the average of each of its individual components.
" but it is still unable to play cs go on 120 fps+
ive seen benchmarks of the same spec playing cs go max settings on 150+ fps , i cant even play it on 120 fps+ med settings

hey im back, i just finished downloading the driver and still the same results 🙁
Okay i'm sorry that didn't helped...but never stop trying. :benetton:
If you run task manager you will see the usage(%)of your components.
Run the game again but then open your task manager while you are in the game and see if any of your components like (CPU,,,,MEMORY,,,,DISK) runs at a high percentage.

Now there's something else we can try now to let your game perform better.
Follow these few steps...
1.In search bar search "View advance system settings).
2.Then when the dialog pops up you will see there are "performance" and its Setting..Open that setting.
3.Now you will see...
*Let windows choose whats best for my computer
*Adjust for best appearance
*Adjust for best performance
*Custom
Now choose the "Adjust for best performance" then Apply and okay...
Try this and see if it performs a little better now.:)

thanks for replying, do you know how i can open my task manager while im in game.

While in game press(Ctrl+alt+delete) then select task manager.
If you see a high percentage in Task manager(While game is at the background) just let me know which component is using the high percentage.
Please name all your system specs again like powersupply...motherboard...hardrives...and windows

Quick suggestion, make sure your monitor's cable is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard. If you plug it into the motherboard, you'll be using CPU integrated graphics instead of 750 Ti, which might be the reason for the terrible performance. It's a common error many of us end up making when building a system.

yes it is plugged in my gpu

Csgo is far more cpu intensive than the original CS. Check your cpu usage. Is it at 100% when fps drops start to happen? Bare in mind also, community made maps are more demanding on the system than the standard maps. Monitor cpu usage with Msi Afterburner ingame.

If you bought the 750Ti from ebay or elsewhere second hand, validate it is actually a 750Ti with Gpuz.
