Hello guys, I want to upgrade to a new GPU and need some info about some questions.
Firsto off my spec now:
i3 2120 3.3Ghz dual core
MSI GTX 650 OC Power Edition
Modecom Premium 430w
4gb RAM
I am thinking in upgrading to MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti GAMING OC, 2GB or MSI Radeon R7 265 OC, 2GB
Since I always used nvidia cards i prefer them, but if I get more performance from AMD I would buy it.
1. So which one is better?
2. Would my psu handle them?
3. How good CPU intense games (Planetside 2, Guild wars 2) run with this upgrade?
4. Could I get like constant 50-60 fps in games like AC Black Flag, Far Cry 3, or even newer games like DA Inquisition with the mix of high (not ultra) and medium settings?
5. Maby I can get better performance if i get same card but diferent brand like asus?
6. Will I be able to overclock them to get a boost in games?

Since I've never heard about that psu before then I'd recommend the 750ti as it doesn't draw much power.

The R7-265 is superior to the 750ti by 10% however it consumes more power and overclocks less.

Your next upgrade should be the PSU.

As for the GPU , it would play settings on medium-high 1080p with no AA and no Ambient Occlusion , The CPU is meh but would handle the 750ti no problems.

The 750ti and the 265 aren't much of an upgrade over what you currently have but will yield better performance.

From what I gathered from my reaserch in this gpu upgrade I would get like 2x fps increase from my current gpu also it might fix my strange 1-2 sec freeze in some games. But maby someone can recommend a better GPU?
