Hi, I'm looking into buying a EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, as it can run my games on Ultra (stuff like Battlefield 4 and DayZ). I was looking at Walmart.com and saw the same card twice, but one was cheaper, and had one less fan thingy. Are these the same card still? Also - What do I need to consider looking at in my PC before buying this card? I'm running Windows 8.1 64 bit, I have an intel i5-4430 CPU 3.00 GHz, 8 GB Ram, and my current card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630.

If your on 720p then you will get a big performance jump
maybe 15-25 more fps

All those videos are on 1080p
theres a big difference in performance with 720 and 1080

The one with the extra fan will just run your card cooler..
Which if your not overclocking then you won't benefit from it too much
and i say too much because it will still run your computer at lower temperatures

The cards you're talking about are most likely the reference version and the ACX cooler version. They are the same card but the ACX cooler is probably more quiet than the vanilla reference version. If it's only $20 more or so then get the one with the bigger cooler. If it's more than $50 more than just get a reference version.

first of all.. no a 750 ti cannot run games on ultra

the difference btw those two cards is that the dual fan one is the FTW edition..is is slightly overclocked than normal

compared to your present 630 there wil be a performance improvement but you cant run games on ultra.. not unless they are 2012 and older...

Well whats your wattage for your current one?

And i would definitely get a better card because the 750 ti is not a ultra card it more of a high-medium card
heres some suggestions ( i would get the 280)
R9 270x (139.99)
GTX 760 (169.99)
R9 280 (169.99)

Yes they are
Well i guess it could run ultra but i assumed you wanted 60+ fps
with Anti Aliasing on
But if you have no AA you should be able to play games with good performance

Dont get me wrong this is great bang for the buck gpu
Are you going to be gaming in 1080p?
