[SOLVED] GTX 750 Ti

Correct, a 750TI does not require additional PCIe connectors from the PSU - it's powered via he PCIe slot.

Do you know what display thing that is on the back?
it looks like dvi-d but its too wide, and it can't be a dvi-i

edit: my bad, looked up the specifications on it and found it
One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One mini-HDMIStandard Display Connectors

wait, i'm confused, which one is it? 😀

That's a Dual Link DVI-D

You've already helped me out a bunch today, but could i ask a favor from you
Could you help me find an adapter for it? i just don't wanna buy the wrong one

I've got a vga monitor so i'm looking for (dual link dvi-d to vga converter, prefferably a cable instead of an adapter) i would really appreciate it

i use ebay, so ebay links would be nice :>)
if you're busy, that's alright

Some things i came across:
1: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Metre-Dual-Link-DVI-I-DVI-to-VGA-D-Sub-Video-Adapter-Cable-Converter-Lead-1M/391968018046?epid=9013631810&hash=item5b431d4e7e:g:6g0AAOSwvr1boN80&LH_BIN=1
2: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1080p-DV...45004943abb138ab4026a5ae41717aa66a5d&LH_BIN=1

i think (2) is the right one(?)

True "active" adapters cost more than that.
However, the card has DVI-I, which carries an analog signal and needs a basic adapter only.

This would do what you need (connected to the DVI-I port), and has free shipping in the UK:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DVI-Male...381278?hash=item339887fdde:g:6-YAAOSwstxU5x4A

Is there a nicer looking one? it looks like cheap plastic and it'll really show when its plugged in, i'm willing to spend a bit more money

and would this one not work? i counted the pins and it is 24+1 also https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-1080p-DVI-D-24-1-Pin-Male-to-VGA-15Pin-Female-Active-Cable-Adapter-Converter/383288390102?epid=5024785911&hash=item593dc4b1d6:g:QVAAAOSw6i5d3fNE&LH_BIN=1

also you're getting me really confused, because i did some research and the dvi-i cable has 4 pins around a single flat pin, when what i needed was just a flat bit for the end (hope i made sense) here's an example

(no "4" pins around the flat pin)

(this would be the correct one, no?)

the converter you linked me was this, how would those 4 pins fit inside when there's just 1 flat pin?

Those adapters like Barty linked are actually pretty decently made generally. They take the analog video given by the DVI-I port and allow you to plug a VGA into it.

They work differently tho.

The one you linked should work, but the price seems very low. It is just actively converting the digital video from DVI-D to analog and allowing you to use VGA.

So i should just go with the one he linked? i was just worried that the quality might be bad

The one you linked me https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DVI-Male...381278?hash=item339887fdde:g:6-YAAOSwstxU5x4A does it have 4 pins around a flat? if so i'll know what to look for

found something higher quality, is this the same one? (not the cable one) first version
https://www.amazon.co.uk/HYZUO-Converter-Desktops-Monitors-Projectors/dp/B07KD7LTLB/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=dva+male+to+vga&qid=1584799808&sr=8-10&th=1

i wanna buy like 2-3 of them (different kinds) so when the card arrives i won't have to wait another week to use it

i ordered this one + the one Barty had linked me i should be fine right
