I've been wanting to upgrade my Gpu from my old nvidia geforce 310m and i've found the gtx 750 and was wondering if it would work with my current PC specs?

PSU: 240w https://www.flickr.com/photos/153833405@N06/35782573083/in/dateposted-public/

motherboard:Hewlett Packard 1495

Processor:Intel Core i5-2400

Ram:10gb

Hard drive:2 terabyte
and a dvd drive

Solution
You're looking at using up to 170W(95W CPU + 75W GPU) on the 12V output, while that PSU puts out 190W on the 12V best case scenario. I personally would not be comfortable doing that, it's cutting it too close for me. Those pre-built computer PSUs aren't meant to be run at near 100% load all the time.

Consider a GT 1030, that's only 30W in usage and is pretty much in the same performance category. From a power standpoint, it's much more likely to work without burning out the PSU.
