My budget is $1000 and i can't seem to find a decent build to fit the price range.

Post one from here: www.pcpartpicker.com
in US?

Some suggestions.
SSD: Bigger SSD that can fit OS and all programs/games. WD Black not worth it. I own one and will stick to blue in the future.
GPU: 770 is same as 280x. Asus makes great GPUs and the price is better.
Case: Don't go to cheap. Get a nice case and add a good second 140mm fan to the front.
Monitor: Asus, again, makes great quality gaming monitors.

wait let me try to understand something here, you already have a pc running a 760 but you want to upgrade or you want to build a 2nd system?

depending on the above question I can help you save a lot of money, also you cant go from a 760 to a 280x/770 it would be a waste and the return will be minimal

I've got a 760 and have decided to wait till the 800 series comes out before I upgrade. If you have not built the system yet then definitely go for the 770. Its worth the extra money.
