GTX 760 Won't Work...?

Hi,

So awhile ago my GTX 760 stopped working and by that I mean when you attempt to turn the computer on with it, the computer appears to turn on (monitor stays off) and the video card immediately ramps up its fans.

This is all it does.

If I take out the video card the computer starts up fine.

Note that I have used the video card before with the power supply being a EVGA 500W 80+ (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00H33SFJU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

Note also, that I have taken it apart and found no shortages or anything, and I've also had a few other people have a look.

Sounds like a bad card since it works with out it. Can you try it in a different computer to make sure?

I have tried it in 3, with the same results.

If you are right, I can't really complain. I paid $60 for it and got a month use out of it.

Hmm I could complain.. I got my 60 dollar graphics card (this was 5 years ago mind you) and it lasted me 2 years
