GTX 780 Defect!

Heya,
So, I have the option to buy a 'defect' GTX 780 for 50 euros. The problem this card has is that it doesn't show anything on the screen and the screen says "DVI No Signal". The fans still work fine.
Now, I've read some about this on the internet that a Bios flash would fix this problem. My question is, is it worth trying to repair this gpu or is the chance that it's actually fixable too small?
Any input is more then welcome!

If a simple BIOS fix would fix it, the person probably would have fixed it. More than likely it's toast.
