Heya,

Yesterday my pc turned off and the gpu started sparking against my motherboard.. but ive got not idea why.
There should be an overheating tripwire, yea?
Tho recently, like last week i woke up to a screen saying intel blabla power surge protection.
Weird part is, im from the netherlands so power surges dont really happen, my pc was the only one.. so could there be more to cause that problem?
Also, how do i know if theres more stuff fried or anything.. And can i start up the pc with an x99-a/i7 5930k without integrated graphics?

Thanks in advance!

Update:
So i found an old hd7870 in my closet and it seems to run allright alltho these motherboard temps seem a bit high or am i wrong?

Some part of the gpu may have come in contact with the heatsink generally most of heatsinks are grounded so it is a short circuit
Try to connect the gpu again and maintain a distance between the heatsink(with rog symbol) and the gpu
