I want to know what better in 780 sli vs r9 390x in 3840p x 2160 resolution for gaming

Gtx 780 sli should be massive better at 4k than 390x.

a r9 390x would work better in most cases. the 780 sil will only have 3 gigs of vram the r9 390x has 8 that will make a large difference at 4k. i also recommend you stay away from sli setups. not everything will use the 2 gpu's and i can have many issues.

depends. if you can sell the 780 for a bit a r9 390x will out do it. another option is to try to get a good deal on a 980ti

390 is not meant for 4k gaming. The card is meant 1440p gaming.

You can also go for a pair of gtx 980 ti - that would give killer results
