[SOLVED] GTX 780 stuttering obs

Any game I play regardless if it’s not even stressing the gpu or cpu the game runs buttery smooth with 60+ fps but the recording is stuttering

In OBS advanced settings go to process priority and set it to high so that the recording gets processed before the game.

What I did find is if I add a second gpu not in sli and have the second card recording it doesn’t stutter and the priority didn’t help

Run OBS as administrator mode, and also disable the preview window (or just minimize OBS) when using it. For me, disabling the preview window gets rid of ALL stuttering.
