I have trouble with my MSI Afterburner gtx 780ti where it doesnt get any good fps on any games, it should atleast get 30 fps on battlefield 4 on high but it doesnt seem to get any better than 10.
And on assassins creed 4 its unplayable, its weird cause they followed with the graphics card?
Help Needed.

Specs:
GPU: Msi Afterburner gtx 780ti
Cpu: Amd fx 4300 quad core processor am3+
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 am3+

Hey,

My Hardware list is as follows:

CPU - Intel X980 Extreme 3.33 GHz (O.C. to 4.14 GHZ)
RAM - 12 GB
MoBo - MSI Big Bang X power
Graphics - MSI Gaming Gtx 780 ti

May not be a big help but i am in the same boat with you here. I bought the MSI 780 ti Gaming card and BF4 seems to not like the ultra settings. Maybe it is just my hardware but especially on certain maps (like siege of shanghai and zavod 311) depending on where i look on the map my frames dip into the 40's. And with Assassins Creed black flag i found that the game will run somewhat decently on high IF you turn the PhysX off. (I have seen this before and think it is a physX issue)

While playing BF4 I use the afterburner software to try and see where the graphics card is at in terms of GPU usage and it seems to stick around the 40 - 60% range and only spike to 90% occasionally. Now I can run Bioshock Infinite on full everything and for the most part maintain frame solid frame rates but i notice that my GPU usage in afterburner is higher as well. It could be how the games access system resources? I know BF4 has some pretty hefty optimization issues as well so that could be a factor as well. I did notice substantially more GPU usage on the china rising maps in comparison to the standard maps.

Sorry if it seems like I am trying to hijack your thread because I am certainly not. Just thought i would try to let you know what I found and that it may not be your hardware. Although I am sure that people smarter than me will disprove my theories
😉

The basics for gaming is the Power Supply (having enough Wattage, being reliable and of good quality), the CPU and the GPU, so check the PSU and CPU, and check the compatibility of those 3 together.
