So, I've got this little thing installed in my silverstone PS08b case, and at 30 degrees + ambient temp (highest I'm going to get, I recorded these temps during the height of summer) my GTX 950 can get between 72 to 76 degrees when running star wars battlefront ultra 900p. I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure CPUID was showing it as having 100% utilisation which I can only assume was relatively constant. During benchmarks such as 3Dmark firestrike, it doesn't get this hot.
Model is the Gigabyte windforce 2x (not the Xtreme edition), default fan profile and out-of-the-box overclock untouched.
is this anything to worry about? based on my observations in CPUID it's likely the maximum temps I'm going to see as battlefront ultra pretty much uses my CPU and GPU to their limits.
also I don't think I'm seeing any thermal throttling. Battlefront runs smooth apart from CPU intensive areas because I only have an i3 (explosions close with heaps of dust etc)
