[SOLVED] GTX 950 to RX 580

I was wondering if there would be any problems switching my graphics card. Mainly with my psu i have a 500w so i'm not a whole lot sure if the rx 580 can run with 500w. I am also taking any other recommendations.

Specs Right Now:

GTX 950

EVGA 500B psu

I3 6th gen

8gb ram

1tb Hard Drive.

Be more specific on which PSU you have.

GTX950 needs only a single 6 pin aux power connector.
RX580 needs that 6 pin connector plus an added 8 pin connector.
Unless your psu has those connectors and is of sufficient quality to deliver advertised wattage, I would not.
I might look for a GTX1060 or GTX1660 instead.

i have 2 6+2 pins = 2 8 pins

You might be ok, but why not buy a more efficient graphics card that is in the same price/performance category
like the GTX1060/GTX1660.
RX580 cards are cheap used, but buying used is another issue.
