GTX 950M GDDR3 vs GDDR5 versions

What're the real differences in terms of performance between gddr5 and gddr3 versions of the 950m?

I'm looking at an $800 Asus K501LX which comes with the gddr3 version 950m and otherwise seems the perfect mix of specs for my purposes. I'm a landscape architecture student and looking for a budget laptop that's good enough for auto cad while not being a fat heavy gaming laptop.

Is there any reason I should worry about having the gddr3 version? Are the K501LX components going to work together well?

Gddr5 are always better than gddr3.....you will see upto double performance in gddr5 than gddr3..

the Gddr5 is better in terms of performance and pixels quality.... gddr3 is also good but ill advice to go for gddr5

I don't have the option of getting gddr5 with that laptop. So how limited is the gddr3 performance going to be?

based on my research gddr3 inst that bad.... just think of it as an intel core i5 vs the i7....
