Gtx 960 slow...

I just recently bought a GTX960 2gb. After installing and updating all the drivers ive been playing a bunch of different games but it seems to be slower than what ive seen it can do. For example im on low settings on planetside 2 and i barley get 30 frames. Another example is Tom Clanceys Ghost Recon Phantoms, I feel like i should be able to play on high but i barley get 59 frames on low.

My CPU is a AMD a10-7890k, i have 12gb of good ram.

Ive heard i could go into my bios and shut off the integrated graphics on my cpu but i dont want to risk anything before i know for sure.

Yes, go into BIOS and shut down your iGPU. You may be using that.

So just go into the bios and shut off the integrated graphics from my cpu? And when I reboot after doing this the video card should be running at 100%? Also is it really worth turning off the integrated graphics, my thought was that iit may be slowing down my GTX960., but i guess its worth a try

Some CPUs use their iGPU to save power. Turn it off.
