i was playing on my gtx 960 strix 4gb and my pc randonly shut off, after that i cant get my computer to boot with the gtx 960 at all, no post, no fan spin, nothing but the led light on the gpu. ive tried it in another pc with the same result. i have a old gtx 660 that works just fine on my system. ive tried to uninstall/install drivers and updated bios ony my motherboard. the only way i can get the gtx 960 to appear in my system is to place the gtx 660 as primary card, and the gtx 960 as second card without the extra power connector, its just connected to the motherboard. the gtx 960 shows in device manager, and when i try to update the drivers it says they are either up to date, or fails to install drivers depending on the situation. device manager shows on the gtx 960 that the gpu has been stopped (error code 43)
is the gtx 960 completely busted, or is there still a way to get it to game again?
any advice? thanks in advance
