GTX 960 Temperature on idle

Solution
I had this problem, and it was really confusing because when I first booted all was fine and at some point when I was checking gpu's temperature was around 54 and usage at 95, in msi afterburner. I closed all 3 processes, a movie and 2 torrents and nothing changed. As soon as I closed java update scheduler, which was also eating some 20% of the cpu, gpu usage went down at 0% and temp at 38, cooling after a few minutes at 32.
So just disable java's checking for updates and this won't happen. Something else might also cause it, but this solved it for me.
Are you running multiple monitors, this can increase temperatures(reported by some users).

Fanless mode also clearly will add to temperatures.

Last off, with more and more parts of the operating system and programs using the video card to offload from the cpu, some temperature increase may be noticed.

Can you check how it does under load please.

I'm not running any program.. just msi after burner... is this maybe the couse of the driver>? If yes, how do i clean uninstal GPU driver?
