GTX 960 vs R9 380

Which one is better for about 200€? I've been searching for a long time and I have come to these GPUs. Which one will do better with my cpu and provide better gaming performance for 1366 x 768 resolution? Here in my country (Greece) the prices are about 200€ for each card with 2gb and 230€ for the 4gb versions.

My psu is Allied Tech 550W or 500W. Yes I'm upgrading just the GPU.

If you are playing at 1080p or below than the 2gb card should be enough. The R9 380 is more powerful than the 960. If the 4gb is only slightly more expensive than having more vram is always a plus.

Your psu is a tier 5.... Classed as avoid immediately. I would replace this before you spend your money on a new gpu

I would guess at that resolution you would push 60 for the most part.... But do not put a r9 380 on your psu

As the 960 uses about 70w less than the 380 it would be better suited for your PSU and the performance of both cards is about the same, unless you folding in which case the 960 is the more powerful of the two.

I own and run both cards in the 2GB variants and IMHO the 960 is better.
