So I just wanted to share this experience with you guys, if anyone is wondering to get an aftermarket cooler.
I have (had?) reference gainward gtx 970, in harder games it would run up to 70-74C with fan control. In smaller games like dota or cs go it would be around 60C.
I decided to get Twin turbo III (because xtreme IV is way too big for my case and if you look at their site the twin turbo has better cooling on the same card, gtx 770)
So the installing is a little bit retarded, it took me 2 hours to assemble, the thermal paste and chip got disjointed like 10 times during it because its just a such weird way to setup (their site says its compatible with gtx 970, yes it is but reference gtx 970 is a small car
d, much smaller then some older cards so it was really frustrating experience)
Anyway after I manged to set it up and checked that the paste with the chip was ok also.
I go into GTA V (which used to run at 70-74C). I have most of the settings on highest except for AA so i decided to turn that one up to 8x, obviously fps wasnt great (but it was better than before, heat is a huge factor)
So I tried to make the game sweat as much as possible, spawned tons of stuff using trainers and just made everything explode.
THE TEMPS NEVER WENT OVER 45C.
I am satisfied.
Gonna overclock this baby now.
